Further Results on Spectrum Blind Sampling of 2D Signals

چکیده
We address the problem of sampling of 2D signals with sparse multi-band spectral structure. We show that the signal can be sampled at a fraction of the its Nyquist density determined by the occupancy of the signal in its frequency domain, but without explicit knowledge of its spectral structure. We nd that such a signal can almost surely be reconstructed from its multi-coset samples provided that a universal pattern is used. Also, the scheme can attain the Landau-Nyquist minimum density asymptotically. The spectrum blind feature of our reconstruction scheme has potential applications in Fourier imaging. We apply the sampling scheme on a test image to demonstrate its performance.

Detection of Mo geochemical anomaly in depth using a new scenario based on spectrum–area fractal analysis
Detection of deep and hidden mineralization using the surface geochemical data is a challenging subject in the mineral exploration. In this work, a novel scenario based on the spectrum–area fractal analysis (SAFA) and the principal component analysis (PCA) has been applied to distinguish and delineate the blind and deep Mo anomaly in the Dalli Cu–Au porphyry mineralization area. The Dalli miner...

In this paper an Importance Sampling technique is proposed to achieve blind equalizer and detector for chaotic communication systems. Chaotic signals are generated with dynamic nonlinear systems. These signals have wide applications in communication due to their important properties like randomness, large bandwidth and unpredictability for long time. Based on the different chaotic signals prope...
متن کاملSpectrum Reconstruction from Sub-Nyquist Sampling of Stationary Wideband Signals
In light of the ever-increasing demand for new spectral bands and the underutilization of those already allocated, the new concept of Cognitive Radio (CR) has emerged. Opportunistic users could exploit temporarily vacant bands after detecting the absence of activity of their owners. One of the most crucial tasks in the CR cycle is therefore spectrum sensing and detection which has to be precise...
متن کاملThe Ratio of Second to Fourth Digit Length (2D:4D) in Children with Autistic Disorder
Introduction Emerging hypotheses suggest a causal role for prenatal androgen exposure in some cases of Autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The ratios of the lengths of the bones of the 2nd to the 4th digits (2D:4D) are purported to be markers for prenatal androgen exposure and to be established early in gestation. Ratio of second and fourth digits (2D:4D) is usually used as a proxy for prenatal t...
متن کاملResearch of Blind Signals Separation with Genetic Algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization Based on Mutual Information
Blind source separation technique separates mixed signals blindly without any information on the mixing system. In this paper, we have used two evolutionary algorithms, namely, genetic algorithm and particle swarm optimization for blind source separation. In these techniques a novel fitness function that is based on the mutual information and high order statistics is proposed. In order to evalu...
